Talking Points:
·
Bill
accomplishes what the law already has in place for other vehicle operators
·
Does
not increase the penalty, only clarifies motorcyclists must have a motorcycle
endorsement, which ABATE advocates.
·
ABATE
of Ohio recommends that all riders complete the rider training course through Motorcycle
Ohio. If the course is completed
successfully, the rider will receive their endorsement from the DMV.
